Why I left to build SaaS products

After years of enterprise and internal systems work, I decided to focus on building SaaS products full-time. I wanted to build products where usability, speed, and customer feedback directly shape what gets shipped.

PanelDesk is part of that mission, practical software with clear workflows and direct accountability.

Why panel beating is the first focus

My dad owned a panel beating workshop, and I saw the friction he faced with software that did not fit how real shops operate.

That is why PanelDesk exists: to make daily workshop operations easier, more reliable, and more user-friendly for panel beaters and their teams.

How I build PanelDesk

  • Practical workflows before feature bloat.
  • Simple interfaces so teams can work faster with less training.
  • Fast iteration from real customer feedback.
  • Founder-led support and accountability.

Execution style

  • I stay close to workshop teams and map the real flow before shipping features.
  • Updates are released in practical increments so teams can adopt changes without disruption.
  • Support feedback is translated directly into product priorities and quality fixes.
  • The goal is consistent speed and clarity in day-to-day use, not complexity.
